James Arnott
Co-founder of Rewilding Africa CIC, the UK-based entity appoints Ambassadors from around the globe to help advocate the Rewilding Africa Theory of change. Founded in 2002, Rewilding Africa CIC is a not-for-profit organisation that recruits global Ambassadors and secures fundraising from donor member contributions, in order to contribute to RAIC’s important work.
James’s early career revolved around strategic marketing in the consumer goods sector, although he moved into real estate in 2002,playing a key role in the development and construction of a number of low-cost housing projects and upmarket gated estates in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
The project he is most proud of from his time in real estate was the acclaimed Simbithi Eco Estate in Ballito, a multi-billion rand scheme led by eLan Property.
He co-founded Stedone Homes and Stedone Construction in 2007, focusing on luxury gated estates in South Africa, as well as offering development consulting services to property developers, landowners and investors in South Africa.
This experience means he is accomplished in developing and guiding projects, advising on transactions, strategic marketing and business development.
Dominic Webb
Dom’s passion for supporting the development of Africa’s economy in a long-term, sustainable way grew exponentially during his decade living and working on the continent. His first-hand experience means

Dom owns Orbis Africa and Orbis DMC, a socially-focused expedition company offering educational, global citizenship and high-impact, purpose-led group travel programs across Africa.
A key pillar of its work is to build a network of mutual stakeholders to answer the global south’s need for finance and skill-based partnerships. Over a decade, he has developed a progressive business model of community-focused Global Development Workshops (GDW’s).
In partnership with vocational colleges in Africa, these provide training in fields like sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and cultural trends – equipping future business leaders and agents of change with a skillset to harness the power of tourism-generated income.
Dom also acts as a consultant for African governments on large-scale development projects within their domestic and international sustainable tourism initiatives.
